Predicted surface-exposed protein on Streptococcus pneumoniae str. MDR Canada 19A. Target will be studied with collaborators (Scott Gray-Owen, University of Toronto) for their ability to generate immunogenic responses against S. pneumoniae infection for the purpose of generating a novel vaccine. The structures will aid in understanding the immunogenic response for further vaccine engineering.
